The College of Education offers Master's of Education Degrees both for practicing professionals and for students seeking initial student certification.

Graduate programs for practicing professionals develop deep understanding and reflection in light of current theory and research. These majors include: Elementary Education, Counseling, Special Education, Educational Foundations, and Educational Administration.

Graduate programs with initial certification are specifically designed for mature students with a baccalaureate degree in a field other than education. These majors provide students with the pedagogical knowledge and experiences to become excellent beginning teachers and earn teacher certification in Texas in Early Childhood Education, Middle Grades, and Secondary Education.

Exceptional TCU undergraduate students may be invited to pursue a Three-Two Option that allows them to begin a graduate program with initial teacher certification before completing the baccalaureate degree.
