Master of Education with a Major in Middle Grade Education
Information for Prospective/Current Students
Master's Degree
Ed.D. (Educational Leadership)
Ph.D. (Educational Science: Science Education)

(This program is not currently admitting students.)

The M.Ed. with a major in Middle School Education prepares students who have a baccalaureate degree to become certified to teach in 4th through 8th grade.

It is assumed that persons seeking this degree will already have completed at least one teaching field as required for Texas teacher certification. If such is not the case, it will be necessary for the student to complete an appropriate teaching field of at least 24 hours.
